McNeil Wilson Communications, Inc

A reputation for strategic thinking and award-winning client programs – coupled with a strong work ethic and hands-on management – have made McNeil Wilson Communications (MWC) one of the largest and most respected public relations agencies in the state. Locally owned and Hawaii-based, MWC understands the uniqueness of Hawaii as a multicultural society and its role as a bridge between North America and Asia.

The firm has a deep understanding of Hawaii politics, corporate business, tourism and community that enables it to tap into a statewide network of resources and provide its clients with an unparalleled level of counsel and support.

David McNeil has led the firm since its inception in 1982. This continuity of ownership brings a measure of stability and experience to the consultancy's work that has resulted in long-term relationships with many of the state's leading companies and organizations.

McNeil is joined by a team of senior professionals with expertise in travel and tourism, corporate and public affairs, brand identity, issues management, advocacy campaigns, community relations, government relations, political campaigns and crisis communications.

In 1989, MWC founded Laird Christianson Advertising (LCA), which established itself as one of Hawaii's top advertising firms. In June 2007, the organization acquired Starr Seigle Communications, a leading Honolulu advertising agency with strong disciplines in research and interactive marketing.

Under the parent company name of Anthology Marketing Group (AMG), the merged organization offers clients a holistic approach to marketing with four industry leading practices:

  • McNeil Wilson Communications
  • Laird Christianson Advertising
  • QMark Research
  • StarrTech Interactive

AMG has approximately 100 employees at its offices in Pauahi Tower at Bishop Square in downtown Honolulu. It also has an office in Guam.
